I was at the home and property trade show yesterday. It was full of bright and colourful exhibition design stands. I do not mind going to these shows as I can make good contacts with people who like me are in the property design field. I do however always feel that the design stand staff are only interested in selling me the next big property money making scheme or buy to let investment. Surely if all these deals are as good as they say then they would want to keep it a secret rather than telling the whole world. The show was very interesting though and featured many of the big names in property and real estate circles. The big names were invited as guest speakers to impart their words of wisdom to us mere mortals. If I was twenty years younger I may have been motivated to put some of their ideas in to practice. However at my age I am just happy to talk with other property designers and share ideas and opinions. The show is on for two days, I am happy just to attend for the one day though as I think I will be able to find out enough information that will help me.
